Rob Butler is a certified public accountant licensed by the State of Michigan who passed the CPA exam in 1997.
His education includes a Master of Business Administration from Baker College, Flint, MI, in accounting in June 2000 and a Bachelor of Science in accounting and political science from the University of the State of New York-Albany, NY, in September 1990. He did graduate-level business work from Colorado State University. He has continued professional education in the areas of Forensic Auditing, Pension and 401K Auditing, Federal & State Taxation and Accounting.
Mr. Butler is an alumnus of the Big Four accounting firm Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP where he had worked as an experienced auditor on many diverse engagements.
Other experiences included Jefferson Wells International working as an Accounting Consultant/Internal Auditor, General Motors Service Parts Operations as an Operations Supervisor and Plant Financial Analyst as well as extensive experience in the automotive dealer and supplier sectors.
Mr. Butler is a military veteran having served in both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Naval Reserve receiving Honorable Discharges from both branches. Mr. Butler holds his investment license by the securities exchange commission / FINRA and passed series 6 and 63 exams.
